Seeing sparks
Jul. 28th, 2004 10:18 pmEver since I came back from my month in the country about a year ago, I've found that I frequently get electric shocks. At first it was small things like car door handles and the metallic mixer tap over the kitchen sink, but now it seems to be practically anything metallic in my apartment. And I can see the sparks at times. Even more bizarre is that I get shocks when I'm taking my toast out of the toaster. Whoever heard of getting a shock from that?
I've just found the sock I lost in the wash a fortnight ago. Can somebody please explain how I can have checked the inside of the doona cover at least half a dozen times back then and not find it, but that's where it turned up?
One more question. Today there was a French short film on the SBS, which they called Pixie. It started with a man looking at a calendar with a cross-eyed cat on it, saying that Kelly Rose was coming to dinner on the 6th of December and panicking. The credits were too small for me to read, it wasn't in the TV guide and the imdb doesn't seem to have it listed under that name. Does anybody have any ideas as to what it was and who the actor was in it?
